The Lancaster County Veterans Council is a 501(c) (3) non-profit community based resource that is made up of Lancaster County Veteran Service Organizations (VSOs). These veteran service organizations have to be in good standing with the council in order to be voting members.

Mission Statement:
The purpose of the Lancaster County Veterans Council is to enhance communications to all veterans in the county, to work together in planning and supporting veteran recognition events, and to coordinate support for those veterans requiring aid or assistance.
This Council shall be operated exclusively for providing charitable support for military veterans, and their families, in Lancaster County. This support may be in the form of participating in programs and activities which enhance awareness of veterans, their issues and needs, and, in some instances, providing direct financial aid to veterans and/or their families, in situations of urgent need.
In order to be in good standing, you have to be a Lancaster SC Veterans Service Organization who has requested to be a member and to pay the member dues.
