VA Benefits

va healthcare

We can help you apply for VA Healthcare.  You will need to know your previous year income and out of pocket medical expenses for you household.  You will need your DD214 and any current private insurance cards.  Click the button below to email a Lancaster County Representative for help!

Veterans Pension

Widows Pension/DIC

Widows Pension is a low income benefit.  The DIC benefit is when the veteran passes away from service connected conditions or they were a contributing factor of his death.  If you are interested in either of these benefits, please check out the widows pension packet below.   By clicking the button you can email a representative at the Lancaster County Veterans Affairs your questions.

National Guard and Reserve benefits

If the member is called to ACTIVE duty, then he/she is eligible for the same VA benefits as any other veteran, including those for dependents and survivors.  The member must meet the same length of service requirements.

burial benefits

The burial allowance for a non-service-connected death is $300, and $2,000 for a death connected to military service.  There are other eligibility requirements.  You can visit VA Burial to find out more information or by clicking the button you can email a representative at the Lancaster County Veterans Affairs your questions.
